Counselling
I offer in-person couples counselling from my home office in Wigan, providing a calm and confidential space where you and your partner can explore your relationship together.
Couples counselling offers an opportunity to reflect on the patterns, challenges, and strengths within your relationship in a supportive and neutral environment. Whether you are struggling with communication, trust, conflict, or simply wish to strengthen your connection, counselling can help you both gain understanding and work towards positive change.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of couples therapy theories and techniques to suit the unique needs of your relationship and support your goals as a couple. My work is grounded in a person-centred foundation, meaning I value each partner’s individual experience while focusing on the relationship as a whole. My approach is compassionate and non-judgemental, yet also honest and to the point, helping you explore issues with clarity and care. I am not here to take sides, I am on the side of the relationship.
Sessions are held in a comfortable, private setting designed to help you both feel at ease. There are soft furnishings, blankets, and fidget toys available to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Each couples session lasts 75 minutes and is charged at £70. I also offer a 10% discount when you book and pay for a block of six sessions in advance.
To help you decide if I’m the right counsellor for you as a couple, I offer a free 20-minute consultation via Google Meets or telephone. This gives us a chance to meet, discuss what brings you to counselling, and see how it feels to work together.
I currently have appointments available from January 2026, including evening sessions to help accommodate busy schedules. If you would like to find out more, or arrange a free consultation, please get in touch.
